How Jesus Saved My Life
For as long as I can remember, I’ve known about God... but I didn’t always know Him.
When I was 7 years old, my mom passed away. She was a born-again Christian… my coach, my safe space, and the one who taught me how to love the Lord. Losing her shattered everything I knew. That grief turned into bitterness. That bitterness became rebellion. And before I knew it, I was chasing healing in all the wrong places.
Addiction crept in early, and so did the mental health battles. The ones that made me question if I’d ever feel whole again. I went searching for meaning in spiritual spaces I never should’ve entered. I gave pieces of myself away in hopes that someone or something could finally fix the ache inside of me. I struggled silently with same-sex attraction and felt like I was losing my identity... showing up as someone God never called me to be.
More loss came. More rejection. More loved ones gone too soon. And with every blow, I fell deeper into the pit of drug addiction, alcohol abuse, and hopelessness.
I was slowly losing myself (and dying on the inside).
But God...
In one of the darkest moments of my life, when I was desperate to get sober and questioning if I even deserved to be alive, Jesus met me in a bathroom. Not in a church. Not with a pastor. Just me and God, in a nightclub. And in that sacred, supernatural encounter... I met the living God.
He didn't just comfort me & radiate His unconditional love and peace all over me. He radically transformed me. He set me free from addiction. He healed the wounds I thought I’d carry forever. He gave me a desire to truly know Him and a hunger for His Word that I can only describe as fire in my bones.
Through that fire, I found my voice.
I believe every word of the Bible (cover to cover). It's not just a book. It's alive, complete, active, and the foundation of everything I stand on.
Heavenly Restored Co. was born from that restoration.
This isn’t just clothing. It’s testimony stitched in fabric. It’s for the ones who’ve been through hell… and still believe in Heaven. It’s for those who’ve struggled like I did, but who know the power of God to restore and redeem.
I don’t know where this brand will go... but I sure do know who it’s for. The lost. The broken. The hurting. The healed. The redeemed. And every soul in between who needs to know that Jesus still saves.
I say this with tears in my eyes because I am no stranger to pain... but ALL glory to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is the Alpha, and the Omega. He is the Beginning, and the End. He is the Healer, and the Way Maker.
None of this would’ve been possible without Him.
